Full-length original play set during the English civil war.

I645: a war of wits and wills unfolds between two extraordinary women on opposite sides of the English civil war. A story based on real events  including new women's histories that came to light through my own research as a student of seventeenth century literature.

"A triumph... full of drama and wit" The Cherwell.

"Superbly modulated...Rebekah King is a very talented writer and a playwright to watch" - The Stratford Herald.
