Script one of four short-listed for prize
I'm thrilled to say that my civil war drama 'The Lady's Mad', which was based on real historical accounts unearthed during my studies, was one of four finalists for the Questors Student Playwriting Award, 2020.
This prize was part of the Questors' ninety year anniversary celebrations, Judi Dench was patron, and the top recognitions were announced by Oliver Ford-Davies at a special event in the beautiful theatre itself in West London.
It's particularly gratifying to be recognised for a script that was both one of my earliest forays into playwriting, and a history drama - a genre that is often overlooked in modern writing competitions.
